Wayne Gretzky, also know as The Great One is considered to be the greatest player in NHL history. He was a 10-time NHL scoring champion a nine-time regular season MVP 1979-8789 and nine-time All-NHL first team. He scored 200 points or more in a season 4 times and led Edmonton to 4 Stanley Cups 1984-8587-88. He broke Gordie Howe's all-time NHL goal scoring record of 801 on Mar. 23 1994 and is the all-time NHL leader in points 2857 goals 894 and assists 1963. In 1999 at age 38 with 61 NHL scoring records in 20 seasons Gretzky retired. The value of his memorabilia is second to none when in it comes to hockey.
This lot features a very rare signed Wayne Gretzky Game Model Titan TPM 2020 Stick. The stick is signed by The Great One and inscribed "To Joe". McMahon, who worked for the Islanders for two decades, started as a stick boy in 1983 at the age of 15 and later went on as an equipment manager for over two decades. A letter from McMahon guaranteeing it's authenticity is included with the stick. This is a game issued stick. This blue model is very rare. The bottom of the stick is dated.
