Many people doubted that Aaron Judge could come back and match the historic feats he accomplished in his 2017 ROY, AL MVP runner up rookie campaign, but there are those who watched his impressive strength and unmatched ability during the Home Run derby and knew he was here to stay. After putting up equally as impressive numbers to start his sophomore campaign, it was pretty certain the Aaron Judge was the future of not only the New York Yankees, but of the Major Leagues. Unfortunately his season was shortened by an inside pitch, but while on the field and in the batter box, Judge plated 27 Home Runs with 22 Doubles in only 112 games.

Going into the final weekend of the season, and with the Wild Card home field advantage on the line, the Yankees entered the weekend with a shot at matching or breaking the single season franchise Home Run record 264 Home Runs set by the 1997 Seattle Mariners. Entering Friday nights game with 260 Home Runs, the Yankees needed four home runs to tie and five to set the bar, and the Yankees blasted three home runs during the first seven innings, setting up a showdown between Aaron Judge and Bobby Poyner in the eight inning with a chance at the record. The match up was quickly won by Judge when he took the first pitch he saw to deep center for the New York Yankees 264th Home run of 2018!

This road jersey was worn for all three games of the series in which Judge saw his sophomore regular season come to a close. The jersey was worn for Career Home run #83 but ever more importantly, the franchise record tying 264th Home Run. The jersey comes with a Steiner tamper proof hologram and a letter of authenticity from the Yankee/Steiner partnership.
