Offered here is a 1978 New York Yankees World Series Ring that had been presented to Mr. Jack Satter. It was the first of Mr. Satter’s many Yankee World Series rings as a limited partner of the team. Jack Satter was a businessman, philanthropist, and part-owner of the New York Yankees beginning in 1978 and lasting nearly thirty years. Mr. Satter passed away on April 7, 2014 at age 92. The ring is a Balfour 14K gold ring with one large diamond in the center, encircled with 21 smaller diamonds. The ring is size 9.5. Around the outer bevel are the words “WORLD CHAMPIONS.” In addition to the year 1978 and New York Yankee and championship insignia, the name “SATTER” is also engraved on the side. This offering comes with a Letter of Provenance and PSA Letter of Authentication #AF01304.
