In a set filled with HOF rookie cards like those of Robin Yount and Gary Carter, the George Brett card stands apart in one of the most popular sets of the modern era. The 1975 Topps set is one of the tougher issues of the decade. The multi-colored borders are not only fragile, but the abundance of color in the design created even more opportunities for stray print marks. The issue is also susceptible to image tilts, resulting in poor centering.

This George Brett Rookie has been given the Gem Mint designation from BVG, Beckett's Vintage Grading company. The card presents with all of the qualities of a PSA Gem Mint 10. There have only been Nine total given the PSA 10 Gem Mint graded cards. The PSA 10 Gem Mint examples of this card have been regularly selling in excess of $40,000 and they hardly ever become available in the market. The BVG 9.5 Population on this card is only three!
