This 1948 Brooklyn Dodgers Team signed ONL Ford Frick baseball. This ball features a strong Rookie Roy Campanella signature, followed directly below it a Very Strong Jackie Robinson (2nd Year), and below that an even Stronger Gil Hodges all along one panel. The ball also includes signatures of Pee Wee Reese, Carl Furillo, and other members of the team. The baseball has been authenticated by PSA/DNA and is one of the nicer 1948 Dodgers team signed ball's with all of the Keys on one panel! Future Hall of Famer Roy Campanella made his major league debut on April 20th. In July, Campanella replaced Bruce Edwards as the club's starting catcher. Edwards has also signed the ball. This marked the first time that a major league team had two black players in its everyday lineup. On September 9, Rex Barney pitched a no-hitter against the New York Giants. He walked two batters and struck out four in a 2–0 victory. Rex Barney has also signed the ball.
