Presented is Honus Wagner's Hall of Fame 14K Gold Induction Pin engraved on the reverse, Hans Wagner. Wagner’s stunning lapel pin comes to us 15 years after it was first sold at auction by his granddaughter Leslie Wagner Blair.

The stunning gold and silver lapel pin is tiny in physical size, but enormous in significance. The fourteen karat (14k) gold pin by Balfour was issued to Wagner as a member of the sport's most esteemed brotherhood. The design is modest elegance, a silver ball framed by two pillars on a gold background, the words "Hall of Fame" filling the arch above and a baseball diamond framed by laurel branches below. The reverse is engraved “Hans Wagner” on top with a screw-down stem in the middle and the initials “LGB” for Lloyd Garfield Balfour, an early Balfour jewelers’ mark on the bottom.

This genuine pin has been confirmed by the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown as matching those in their collection. The examples to which they made their comparison are Rogers Horsnby – 1942 and George Weiss – 1971.
