Although not quite as successful as the previous three seasons, in which the Yankees appeared in each World Series and won twice, the 1929 Yankees did their own damage in the Major Leagues that year, finishing in second place in the American League, only behind Jimmie Foxx and the Philadelphia Athletics. Offered here is a clean Official American League (Barnard) baseball signed by 16 members of that team. Signatures include Babe Ruth on the sweet spot, followed up by Lou Gehrig, Leo Durocher, Bill Dickey, Tom Zachary, Mark Koenig, Ben Paschal, Wilcy Moore, Julie Wera, Cedric Durst, Bob Shawkey, Bob Meusel, Fred Heimach, Lyn Lary, Ed Wells, and Arthur Fletcher. All signatures exhibit light fading, but remaining overall bold, with Ruth and Gehrig's autographs both standing strong in the test of time. A clean, crisp example of one of the Yankees' legendary teams. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA and James Spence Authenticated (JSA).
