This magical baseball bat is destined to become the centerpiece of any collection. The 1923-1925 Hillerich & Bradsby R2 model bat measures 36 inches in length and weights a Ruthian 41.2oz. This war-hammer is un-cracked and displays evidence of excellent use. Many ball marks, stitch impressions and checking from ball contact on hard hits and booming home runs can be seen on the left and back barrel. The right barrel shows general use with a few cleat impressions. This bat, as do all high-grade Babe Ruth game used bats, displays one or more of the following four player characteristics; handle scoring, barrel scoring, cleat marks on the barrel and left barrel contact area. The labeling period of this Babe Ruth professional model bat is defined by the center brand. This bat displays a C-4E center brand that is appropriate for 1923 to 1925.

This bat has been professionally authenticated by PSA/DNA (the worldwide leader in game used bat authentication) in their opinion was game used by Babe Ruth during the labeling period. Louisville Slugger Professional Bat Ordering Records are not available for 1924, therefore the PBOR cannot be referenced. The 250 model does appear on Ruth’s record for 1920 and this bat matches all 18-points of reference for PBOR Babe Ruth model R2 bats. AUTHENTICATED BY PSA/DNA GU7
