Offered is a spectacular autographed 1909-1911 T206 Fred Snodgrass baseball card. This card is brand new to the hobby, it comes from the original owner who acquired the autograph in person as a youngster.

There are very few signed T206 cards are in existence today. Only 61 different poses of the 110 year old cards are known to be autographed, with some poses only having one known signed example.

Snodgrass is a legendary pre-war player, donning a uniform from 1908 to 1916 for the New York Giants and the Boston Braves. He played under manager John McGraw and with some of the game's early greats, including Christy Mathewson. He is best known for dropping a key fly ball in the 1912 World Series.

In the last 24 months the signed T206 market has been red-hot, with five sales of signed T206 cards over $25,000, two of which for over $30,000. Authentication by James Spence Authentication (JSA)
