Offered is a nicely autographed 1909-1911 T206 Sam Crawford baseball card. This card is brand new to the hobby, it comes from the original owner who acquired the autograph in person as a youngster. There are very few signed T206 cards are in existence today. Only sixty-one different poses of the 110 year old cards are known to be autographed, with some poses only having one known signed example.

Sam Crawford is a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, he was a superstar of pre-war baseball. For his career, he batted .309 over 19 seasons, while also hitting the identical number—309—in triples. He stole 367 bases, drove in 1,525 runs, scored 1,391 times, hit 458 doubles, and rang up 2,961 hits. He remains the career leader in triples.

Crawford was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1957. In a 2014 auction a signed T206 Sam Crawford card sold for just shy of $7,000. In the last 24 months the signed T206 market has been red-hot, with five sales of signed T206 cards over $25,000, two of which for over $30,000. Authentication by James Spence Authentication (JSA)
