Offered is a very rare autographed 1909-1911 T206 Elmer Flick baseball card. This card is brand new to the hobby, it comes from the original owner who acquired the autograph in person as a youngster. There are very few signed T206 cards are in existence today. Only sixty-one different poses of the 110 year old cards are known to be autographed, with some poses only having one known signed example.

Elmer Flick is a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, he was a superstar of pre-war baseball. He finished his major league career with 1,752 hits, 268 doubles, 164 triples, and 330 stolen bases.

Flick was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1963 by the Veterans Committee. At 87 years old at the time of his election, Flick became the oldest living player to earn enshrinement in Cooperstown. In a 2014 auction a signed T206 Elmer Flick card sold for just shy of $7,000. In the last 24 months the signed T206 market has been red-hot, with five sales of signed T206 cards over $25,000, two of which for over $30,000. Authentication by James Spence Authentication (JSA)
