The first perfect game in World Series history was pitched by Don Larsen. On Oct. 8, 1956, against the Brooklyn Dodgers, Larsen became the first pitcher to throw a no-hit, no-walk, no-run game during a championship series. It took just 97 pitches to beat the Dodgers in Game Five and only went to a three-ball count once. This high quality digital photograph depicts Larsen's last pitch of the game.
