Mariano Rivera and Jorge Posada will go down in history as one of Major League Baseball's best batteries. Rivera has saved 500-plus games and holds the Major League record for postseason saves and most World Series saves. Rivera earned the 1999 World Series MVP, the 2003 ALCS MVP and is a ten-time All-Star who nailed down his record-breaking fourth All-Star Game save on July 14, 2009. Many of those saves came with Posada, one of the game's finest catchers, behind the plate. Posada is also a threat at the plate, a .275+ career hitter who had a career year in 2007, hitting .338 with 20 HR, 90 RBI, 91 R and 42 2B. Mariano Rivera and Jorge Posada have each signed this 16x20 photograph of Posada dropping a ball into the glove of Rivera as the reliever a came in to save the game against the Seattle Mariners on July 17, 2006, at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees won the game 4-2. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
Each New Yankee Stadium 2009 mini dirt collage comes framed with an unsigned photo of Yankee Stadium, a container of game used dirt from the inaugural season at Yankee Stadium and a detailed name plate.
