Charity Auction to Benefit VetDogs
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 7/1/2013
Known as much for his catching abilities as his "Yogi-isms", Yogi Berra played on 10 World Series championship teams and appeared in 14 World Series with the New York Yankees. Berra was selected to the All-Star team every year from 1948 to 1962 and was a three-time American League MVP. He called three no-hitters, one of them Don Larsen's perfect game in the 1956 World Series. This 8x10 photograph of Yogi Berra with Babe Ruth has been hand-signed by Yogi Berra. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included. Yogi will personlize this photo to the winning bidder. The proceeds of this sale will benefit VetDogs. VetDogs is a not-for-profit organization founded by the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind and serves the needs of disabled veterans and active duty personnel. Since 1946, the Guide Dog Foundation has provided guide dogs and training at no cost to people who are blind or visually impaired, including veterans.
