Wayne Gretzky's nickname is not surprisingly 'The Great One'. He was a 10-time NHL scoring champion a nine-time regular season MVP 1979 and nine-time All-NHL first team. He scored 200 points or more in a season 4 times and led Edmonton to 4 Stanley Cups 1984-8587-88. He broke Gordie Howe's all-time NHL goal scoring record of 801 on Mar. 23 1994 and is the all-time NHL leader in points 2857 goals 894 and assists 1963. In 1999 at age 38 with 61 NHL scoring records in 20 seasons Gretzky retired.
