Yankees' great Tino Martinez has personally hand-signed this game-used baseball used in the 2014 Yankees season in a game against the Baltimore Orioles on June 21st, 2014. Although upon his arrival to the Bronx Martinez had some big shoes to fill replacing the Yankees' legend Don Mattingly at first base. But Yankees' fans soon took a love for Tino because of his passionate attitude, timely hits and stellar glove work that helped him tremendously in his career as a Yankee. During his fine career in the Bronx he stepped in and became an important component to the successes of the Yankees during the mid to late '90s. One his most memorable Yankee moment came in Game 1of the '98 World Series where he hit a monster glam slam in which the San Diego Padres never recovered and the Yankees went on the have the greatest season in MLB history with 125 wins. This baseball is significant is because it is from Tino Martinez Day at Yankee Stadium, where Tino is honored with a plaque in Monument Park.
