Sandro Miller is an internationally renowned American portrait photographer (working professionally as "Sandro") and is known for his expressive images of people. His work has been featured in The New Yorker, Time, Newsweek, Forbes, Details, Esquire, Stern, Wired, and ESPN magazine, and has been exhibited worldwide. His most recent solo exhibition premiered at the Scavi Scaligeri International Center for Photography in Verona, Italy. Miller currently has four books in print. His first effort was a collaboration with Michael Jordan titled I Can’t Accept Not Trying. His second, published by Schirmer/Mosel and titled American Biker, features a collection of striking biker portraits. His third is a comprehensive catalogue from the Scavi Scaligeri exhibition titled Sandro Verona: Figure E Ritratti. His fourth, published by Charta, is titled Imagine Cuba 1999–2007, a collection of portraits of the people of Cuba and images of Cuba’s previously unphotographed heroes, their Olympic athletes. For the past five years, in juried competition within the industry, Sandro has been voted one of the top 200 advertising photographers in the world. The proceeds of this sale will benefit VetDogs. VetDogs is a not-for-profit organization founded by the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind and serves the needs of disabled veterans and active duty personnel. Since 1946, the Guide Dog Foundation has provided guide dogs and training at no cost to people who are blind or visually impaired, including veterans.
