The 1996-97 NBA season marked the 50th anniversary of the NBA. Each team wore a special gold NBA logo in honor of the NBA's 50th on all of their jerseys. To celebrate this special milestone, during NBA All Star Weekend in Cleveland, Ohio the NBA honored and celebrated the 50 greatest players of all time during halftime of the All Star Game. With the exception of Pistol Pete who had already passed away, all other 49 legends were. MJ, Wilt, Shaq, Bird, Magic, Ewing, Mikan......the list goes on and on.

Featured in this lot is a one of a kind piece that any basketball fan would appreciate. This custom made, framed and matted piece features signed 8x10's, cards, cuts, and even a check from all fifty legends!! Featured at the top are signed 8x10's of Jordan, Bird/ McHale, and Magic. The Jordan 8x10 is authenticated by UDA. Some of the signed cards include Stockton, D. Robinson, Havlicek, I. Thomas, Pippen, Olajuwon and more are all pre-certified. Some of the cut signatures include Dr. J, Rick Barry, E. Baylor, Bill Russell and more including a very rare signed check from Pistol Pete Maravich. There are two more additional 8x10's signed by Ewing and Shaq, as well as a custom plaque reading "FIFTY GREATEST NBA PLAYERS".

This one of one custom piece measures a massive five feet tall by four feet wide. Each signautre has been authenticated by JSA. The NBA @ 50 signed and framed collages that the NBA put together in 1997 have sold for $25,000 and up. This lots starting bid starts at a fraction of that price.
