From 1951 when he hit .267 as a 19-year-old Yankees rookie from Oklahoma through 1968 when he belted the last of his 536 career home runs Mickey Mantle captured the imagination of a generation. A three-time Most Valuable Player Mantle won the Triple Crown in 1956 with a .353 BA 52 HR and 130 RBI. Despite being plagued by injuries he hit over .300 10 times and played in 12 World Series for a team that won seven World Championships during his career. Mantle is considered by many to be the best switch hitter to ever play the game. Mantle has signed this triple crown poster.
