Hailing from Puerto Rico, Roberto Clemente played 18 seasons for the Pittsburgh Pirates, from 1955 through 1972. A 15-time All-Star, Clemente won the National League MVP in 1966. He also earned 12 Gold Glove Awards, and led the NL in batting average four times. In 1972, Clemente got his 3,000th major league hit. Tragically, he died in a plane crash later that year, on New Year’s Eve. Clemente had been on his way to Nicaragua to deliver aid to the country after a massive earthquake; the Hall of Famer was only 38 years old. This Adirmdack Big Stick Model Bat is Game Used by Roberto Clemente. The bats shows good game use on it and has a small slight crack on the shaft. Roberto Used this model bat in the time period of 1968 to 1970. The bat is marked with a 21 (Roberto's uniform number) on the knob. This Bat is authenticated by John Taube. A PSA/DNA Full Letter of Authenticity is included. This bat is graded 8.5.
