Del Crandall was a catcher and manager in Major League Baseball who played most of his career with the Boston & Milwaukee Braves. Considered one of the National League's top catchers during the 1950s and early 1960s, he led the league in assists a record-tying six times, in fielding percentage four times and in putouts three times. He was a World Series champion with the Braves in 1957 and an 11x All Star. Included in this lot is an incredible Del Crandall Signed Game Used Louisville Slugger Bat. What makes this bat so amazing is that Crandall added the inscription 1957 Braves My Gamer, which is also the year they won the World Series. This piece of history is authenticated by PSA/DNA.
