On July 18th, 1999, Cone pitched the sixteenth perfect game in baseball history on against the Montreal Expos. Cone's gem is the last no-hitter to date by a Yankee, and the only regular season interleague perfect game. Making the game even more remarkable was that it was "Yogi Berra Day" at Yankee Stadium. After a long feud with owner George Steinbrenner, Berra agreed to return to the stadium that day, and caught the ceremonial first pitch from fellow perfect game pitcher Don Larsen. This image captures the on-field celebration moments after that final out was recorded. Signed in black ink, Cone and Girardi's signatures display 7/8 in strength overall. Item comes with affixed authenticity hologram from Steiner Sports.
