The Unbreakable Auction

Its perhaps the most memorable play in the history of baseball. Game 6 of the 1986 World Series found the New York Mets down to the Boston Red Sox 5-3 in the 10th inning. On the brink of elimination the Mets managed to tie the game at 5 before Mookie Wilsons slow dribbler up the first base line slipped through the legs of Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner. The historic gaff allowed Ray Knight to round third and score giving the Mets the 6-5 victory. The Mets would go on to win the World Series in 7 games. Included in this lot is a Bill Buckner and Mookie Wilson Dual Signed Framed 8x10 Photo. This item includes authentication from JSA.
