This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/11/2013
The 1986 New York Mets had a magical season which resulted in the "Amazing Mets" winning the 1986 World Series against the Boston Red Sox.It had been 17 years since the Mets won their first World Series title and they were itching for another. Unlike their first appearance when they were the underdogs the Mets entered the 1986 Fall Classic against the Boston Red Sox as the heavy favorites. The series went to seven games thanks to the infamous error made by Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner on Mookie Wilson's grounder. On Oct. 27 1986 the Mets clinched their second title proving they were amazin' once again. This 1986 New York Mets 16x20 Photo is hand signed by the 1986 World Series Champion New York Mets in silver ink. This item will come Framed as pictured.
